Sunrise Row

This rowing experience will allow the passenger to experience the beautiful sunrise at Lake Titicaca. The clear Andean skies, bright sunrays and calm waters offer the best scenario for photography and bird watching.

DESCRIPTION

This tour consists of a 3 hours adventure that starts by inviting the pax to be at 5:30 am by the jetty of Isla Esteves, once there the will have a whole brief about how to perform in the canoe and security matters.

Then by 6:00 am the passengers should start rowing to Uros Islands.  On the journey the pax will experience the clear light and natural view perfect to start taking pictures and videos. Wildlife at that time wakes up too, like several kinds of ducks, herons, hawks and others.

The trip will take no more than an hour to reach the specific island at Uros community.  Once there the pax will be able to use the WC, possibly buy some beverages, interact with the local people, they will get an explanation of how the islands where made and some typical clothes will be put on them if allowed by the pax, most passengers enjoy this activity. Once finished at the island the group rows back to Esteves Island. Expecting to be no later than 9:00 am.

Uros – mid morning row

This should be the mostly booked service, since it offers the best time of the day for an average tourist that doesn’t want to have to wake up too early to do mayor activities rather than let the day warm up a bit and row with less clothing layers.

DESCRIPTION

Classic Row has been developed to allow our passengers to do this activity to get to Uros Islands after their breakfast, and like in most days by mid-morning the weather is warmer, and skies are clearer. Best time of the day for a passenger that want to take the day with ease and comfort, without the need of waking up too early.

The group has to be at 9:30 am at Isla Esteves in order to get the briefings and tips about how to be in the canoe. Usually is the best light for taking pictures of nature’s surroundings. For sure, there will be some local wildlife activity like ducks, herons and other species.

The Outrigger Canoe leaves Esteves Island at 10:00 am and it will be arriving Uros Islands by 11am at most. Once in the island the pax will be able to use the WC, possibly buy some beverages, interact with the local people, they will get an explanation of how the islands where made and some typical clothes will be put on them (if allowed by the pax), most passengers enjoy this activity. Once finished at the island the group rows back to Esteves Island. Expecting to be no later than 1:00 pm. Ready to go for some lunch.

Sunset Row

This experience consists about rowing in the afternoon through cattail and bulrushes near Esteves Island. The passenger will be able to have a closer approach to several species of birds such as ducks, hawks, herons and many other local avers. Estimated time of the trip 1:30 hours.

DESCRIPTION

This experience was developed for people who love nature and want to experience what it feels to row in Lake Titicaca, surrounded by nature.

We will paddle through some canals that form in the reed, which hosts many bird species.

Perfect scenario for bird watching and taking pictures of a typical Andean afternoon y is a very quiet and peaceful area.

The Sunset are always special moments and what better than in a outrigger canoe, paddling the waters of Titicaca Lake.
